The Self-Love postage stamp is an initial concept design for the United States Postal Service annual LOVE themed stamp. Through research of previous LOVE stamp concepts and use of varying ideation techniques, the “Self-Love” stamp design concept was developed. A new take on a design traditionally centered around romantic or traditional themes of “love”, the new concept draws on themes of self love, reflection, and affirmations.
STAMP CONCEPT
The stamp series will be made out of a shiny material that provides a reflection on the surface. Various self love phrases and affirmations will be written across the stamp in a handwritten type, reminiscent of a message written in lipstick on a bathroom mirror.
